Woodrow Decker

Woodrow Decker is a descendant of Beast-Killer and an astronaut who winds up shipwrecked with his copilot on an alien world. They get chased through some ancient ruins by a tentacle creature. His copilot was caught. Then Decker fell into a hole where a Monolith awaits.

He is transported into a pastoral countryside. Here he rapidly ages until he dies and is converted by the monolith into an embryo-type creature referred to as a 'new seed' to explore the galaxy.
